The birds that roost outside the Vinton Lutheran Home have a new partnership between Den 1 Tigers and Lutheran Home residents for the snacks they enjoyed on Sunday.
The Tigers have begun an "Adopt a Grandparent" program with residents there. On Sunday, they and their adopted grandparents made string bird feeders using bread and fruit.
Tiger leader Aimee Redlinger said both the Scouts and the residents look forward to their Sunday afternoons together.
On previous Sundays, the Scouts and residents read and played games together. They plan other projects for the near future.
