The Vinton-Shellsburg Vikettes will accompany breast cancer survivors between games, and auction off several items to raise money to fight the disease during their 4th Annual Pink Night Friday, Feb. 1.

During the Vikettes' game vs. Benton, the team will use a pink basketball. Team members will sign the ball, which will be sold via silent auction. A quilt created by Megan Ternus and donated by her family will also be sold via sealed silent auction. Area businesses have also donated a basket containing several pink items for another silent auction.

All proceeds will go toward the Virginia Gay Hospital Imaging Services Dept. for their Mammography Services.
