News :: Did you forget something?
· 11:58am May 20th, 2014
Yesterday I called Dean.
He answered the phone.
The conversation was really, really short.
"Hi. I can't remember why I called you but as soon as I remember, I'll call you back" I said with a laugh.
He laughed with me and we hung up.
I remembered that whatever it was I was calling about had to do with the website, so I went back to that page on my computer screen and stared at it,
Sure enough, one of the ads reminded me that I needed to ask Dean a question about something I saw there.
For many of you, it's 11:45 p.m. you look at the clock and maybe you think, "11:45, that's the same time the email from Vinton Today arrives in my inbox. Oh rats, I forgot to send them a donation today! Tomorrow..."
This is your reminder!
Please lend us a hand today.
Don't leave this article until you get out that checkbook and make your donation.
It doesn't need to be much, every little bit helps, really! (However, if that item you just bought at the thrift shop was stuffed with cash, and you can't find the owner and want to find something to lend a hand to, well, feel free to send it to: Vinton Today, P.O. Box 477, Vinton, Iowa 52349)
We appreciate so much all of you that have taken the time to send in a donation, you may never fully understand our appreciation, but from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
