The blue egg, in plain sight, as the children approach.

I watched from the top of the tower inside what Vinton visitors to Riverside Park call "The Castle" during the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and was amazed at how many children sprinted right past a bright blue egg without apparently noticing it. But don't take my word; see for yourself.

For more than an half-century (although it seems difficult to find someone who remembers exactly how long) the club has sponsored the annual event at Riverside Park. Club members and volunteers filled thousands of plastic eggs with candy before placing them throughout the park. The Easter Bunny was on hand for photographs.
