Intrastate Warrants are issued by Law Enforcement Agencies for crimes happening in their jurisdictions.

Charged with Theft 5th Degree (Simple Misdemeanor).

Charged with Driving While Suspended (Simple Misdemeanor).
March 29 Edward J. Finley 39 Vinton
Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Serious Misdemeanor) and Driving While Suspended (Simple Misdemeanor).
Citation issued for Proof of Insurance.
March 30 Dennis R. Applegarth 54 Vinton
Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – 2nd Offense (Aggravated Misdemeanor) and Public Intoxication (Simple Misdemeanor).
March 20 A 15 year old male was referred to Juvenile Probation for Theft 5th Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanors).
March 20 A 15 year old male and a 13 year old male were referred to Juvenile Probation for Theft 5th Degree (Simple Misdemeanor).
Nine citations were issued in March. One resulted from one state reportable traffic accidents, two for curfew violation – 1st offense, one for curfew violation – 2nd offense, and the remainder for other traffic offenses.
Nineteen written warnings were issued in March.
Seven parking/street storage/snow removal violations were issued in March.
For the month of March, 108 complaints/calls for service were handled by the Vinton Police Department.
