October 7, 2014 The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Frese, Hertle and Wiley present. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. Moved by Hertle, seconded by Wiley, to approve the minutes of September 30, 2014, with the following amendment: Emergency Management Coordinator Scott Hansen volunteered to serve on the committee is added to the discussion regarding the employee handbook.

Seven Candidates on Nov. 4 Ballot for County Extension Council

Voters will have the opportunity to elect five members of the Benton County Extension Council from a slate of eight candidates at the Nov. 4 general election. “The council members elected this year will be involved in bringing educational opportunities to Benton County for the next four years,” Greg Walston, Benton County Program Director said.
