The Forum/ ICN Meeting scheduled for today January 16, at the Iowa Braille School, has postponed until Wednesday, January 22 due to weather.
As Patrick Clancy plans to retire from his position as Superintendent of both the Iowa School for the Deaf and the Iowa Braille and Sight-Saving School later this year, Iowa education officials are seeking input from affected families and citizens as they seek to replace Clancy and choose programs and priorities for the future.
The Board of Regents scheduled two open forums for the public to comment on the desired qualities of the next Superintendent of the Iowa School for the Deaf (ISD) and the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School (IBSSS).
The ISD forum took place Monday at the ISD campus in Council Bluffs.
The IBSSS forum will now take place on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at 5 p.m. in the Main Building Auditorium on the IBSSS campus in Vinton.
