Benton Community HS will present Treasure Island this Friday and Saturday at 7pm in the high school auditorium. Tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for seniors and students. Tickets are available online @ http://www.showtix4u.com/launch/index.php#!/page_Events or at the door.
Treasure Island is a stunning yarn of piracy on the tropical seas, based on the adventure novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. The tale begins at an inn on the coast of England in 1775 and quickly becomes an unforgettable tale of treachery and mayhem featuring a host of swashbucklers. At the center of it all are Jim Hawkins, a 14-yr-old boy who longs for adventure, and the infamous Long John Silver. Jim struggles to come of age among this band of pirates, contemplating loyalty, riches and his place in the world. The action and adventure will appeal to all ages.
