Entertainment :: Popularity of 'Frozen' leads to expanded showings at Palace
· 4:22pm December 29th, 2013
Busy, busy, busy! We haven’t seen crowds like this at the Palace in quite some time. Not since “The Blind Side” in 2009!
Our first several showings of “Frozen” sold out in record time, with most seats purchased in advance before the doors opened. To accommodate as many patrons as possible, the Palace Theatre has added matinees and late shows to the upcoming weeks’ schedule.
The updated calendar is as follows.
Sunday, December 29: 4 pm, 7 pm, 9 pm
Monday, December 30: 2 pm, 7 pm, 9 pm
Tuesday, December 31: 2 pm, 7 pm
Wednesday, January 1: 2 pm, 7 pm
Thursday, January 2: 7 pm
“Frozen” is Disney Animation Studio’s latest 3D offering. A delightful film, fun for all ages, with catchy songs, smart dialogue, and COOL characters. Tickets are $4 at the door, and may be purchased in advance at the theatre or online at www.vintonpalace.org.
