Entertainment :: In Depth: Frozen
· 12:40pm December 26th, 2013
Walt Disney is back! “Frozen” in 3D plays the Palace Friday, December 27 through Thursday, January 2 at 7 pm, Saturday and Sunday, December 28 and 29 at 4 pm, and Monday, December 30 at 2 pm.
“Frozen” brings a return to the blockbuster animation films we know and love.
One of my faraway Facebook friends saw it with her three young girls and had this to say:
We loved Frozen. Favorite. Disney. Movie. To. Date!
That’s high praise! This movie is wonderfully animated with singable songs, smart, funny dialogue, and delightfully COOL characters
A kingdom is trapped in eternal winter. Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) partners with Kristoff (Jonathon Groff) on an epic journey to find Anna's sister Elsa, the Snow Queen, (Idina Menzel) and put an end to her icy spell. Along the way, they encounter mystical trolls, a funny snowman named Olaf, Everest-like extremes and magic at every turn.
The crystal white, snowy setting will feel quite familiar, but we promise lots of hot, buttery popcorn to warm you up! And you can now get hot coffee, tea, chocolate, or cider at the Palace!
Following “Frozen,” we’ll laugh with Will Ferrell in “Anchorman 2,” catch up with Bilbo and Gandalf in “The Hobbit,” enjoy the oh, so enjoyable Tom Hanks in “Saving Mr. Banks,” bring back the kids for “Walking With Dinosaurs,” and finally, duke it out with De Niro and Stallone in “Grudge Match.”
And you’ll be able to read all about it here in In Depth. Gerald and I apologize for the several weeks of no email updates. We lost Wesley, our newsletter/website guru to bigger and better things, and decided to take that opportunity to transition to a different format.
Email patrons will now be receiving their updates through our ticket agent, Vendini. Anyone who has ordered online or signed up on the website should be receiving an email. You have the option to unsubscribe at the bottom of the email.
Please let us know if there is a problem, eg: formatting, double sends.
Enjoy some CHILL holiday entertainment with your family and friends at the Palace Theatre!
